Kraft Hockeyville Day

Join the Kraft Hockeyville Finale Celebration – THIS SATURDAY, Mar 31st!

This Saturday, The West Kelowna Kraft Hockeyville Committee invites the entire community to celebrate Kraft Hockeyville’s Finale at Royal LePage Place with a day full of activities for families, culminating in a televised broadcast inside Royal LePage Place of the Vancouver Canucks game and Hockeyville winner’s announcement live! Admission is free!

CBC will be in West Kelowna broadcasting throughout the day and filming the activities. We want to show our community spirit to the whole country and pack the house for the biggest celebration ever in West Kelowna!

Here is a rundown of the day’s events:

• 8am – 10am – FREE Pancake breakfast in the courtyard

• 10am – 11am – Minor Hockey Novice Exhibition Game

• 11am – 1pm – Minor Hockey Atom Division Skills Camp on ice conducted by Warriors coaches and players with special guest, former NHL’er Bobby Holik

• 1pm – 2:30pm – FREE Public Skate at Royal LePage Place, open to all families

• 2:45pm – 3:45pm – FREE Firefighters vs Media celebrities hockey game (Royal LePage Place)

• 4pm – 6:30pm – FREE Tailgate party & barbeque in the courtyard – Ugliest Don Cherry Jacket contest at 5pm!

• 7:00pm – 9:30pm – FREE Vancouver Canucks televised game inside Royal LePage Place (Doors to the public open at 6:15pm – winners announcement at 7:45pm)

We’ll also have activities, crafts, merchandise for sale, a bouncy house, live music throughout the day from 8am – 6:30pm and more!

We will be broadcast on CBC throughout the day across Canada, so come out and let’s show the whole country our West Kelowna passion and pride! Bring signs, wear your Hockeyville gear (and if you don’t have any, jerseys will be available to purchase all day while supplies last), hockey jerseys, paint your faces and do whatever you can to show your support for Kraft Hockeyville!
